Flowers are Fading



Flowers are fading along with my heart.
A nameless love I knew from the start.
Whispers fading, call us to be
Apart from the heart eternally.


A nameless song spreading its power.
Night as times wondering hour.
Young ones see it and hope to know it.
Wise ones want it, wish to own it.


A time to see what once was ours.
As time reveals unhealed scars.
Writings of old yet seem so new.
The able and wisdom given to few.


I know the way, hear what I say.
A time found in rhyme and lost at day.

Like a hearts tears we somehow shed.
Our mind fears as we go to our bed.


We see it we feel it.
We heal it and kill it.


A place forgotten sealed away.
I know it and somehow wish it to stay.
My heart as a map given in spirit.
Wise to the heart hear it and fear it.


I know what it is yet it wont come out.
Or touch me or love me because of the doubt.
My heart aches for it to know it to love it.
My body, no motion, in dormant because of it.

All I can do is cry for me and for you.
My belief keeps me alive, as will my love do for you.
